Retail Marketing

The Husky logo is one of the most recognizable brands in the Canadian retail landscape. Husky has proudly served Husky-branded refined products for more than 70 years.

Husky's retail distribution network includes the wholesale, commercial and retail marketing of refined petroleum products and provides substantial income from non-fuel related revenues through its convenience store, restaurant and car wash operations.

Branded Petroleum Outlets and Commercial Distribution

The Husky retail and commercial distribution network stretches from Vancouver Island on the west coast to the Ontario/Quebec border in Central Canada. Its extensive network of Travel Centres, full and self-serve retail outlets, and bulk distribution facilities operates under the Husky and Mohawk brands. Husky has completed the acquisition and rebranding of 98 retail stations in southern Ontario, enhancing its presence in Canada's largest consumer fuel market.

Husky offers "Mother Nature's Fuel," an ethanol-blended fuel to help customers reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Husky is Western Canada's largest producer of ethanol, producing 260 million litres annually for blending in gasoline. Its ethanol plants in Lloydminster, Saskatchewan and Minnedosa, Manitoba use non-food grade grain purchased from local producers.

Many Husky retail and commercial outlets offer propane and DieselMax, a high-quality, additive-enhanced, ultra-low-sulphur diesel that improves performance and has fewer emissions than regular diesel.

Husky's Route Commander cardlock system allows commercial customers to purchase products using an automated card system that electronically processes transactions. Customers have access to the Route Commander website where they can receive detailed billing, track card usage and manage their fuel purchases.

Customer Support

Husky prides itself on being an important part of the communities in which it serves, and works hard to support local initiatives through strategic sponsorship and marketing programs.

Husky's strong relationship with the four Western Canadian Automobile Association (CAA) clubs allows motorists to earn more benefits by visiting Husky and Mohawk facilities and gives Husky access to a qualified and dedicated customer base. In addition, Husky's Community Rebate Program provides an easy way for community organizations to raise funds through a member-driven program that rebates a portion of member purchases back to their organizations.

Husky is proud to offer full-service access for motorists with disabilities. At all outlets that offer both full- and self-serve fuel, retailers provide full-fuel service at self-serve prices to motorists who have difficulties fuelling their own vehicles.
