Clean up progressing at Moose Mountain operations area

Clean up is progressing at the site of a light oil release at the Company’s Moose Mountain operations area. The release, which was discovered on the afternoon of Thursday, March 16, has been estimated to be less than 25 metres3.

The cleanup will be completed in the days ahead and restoration work will be initiated immediately.

There is no flowing water at this location and additional precautions have been taken to ensure any runoff is diverted around the cleanup area.

Husky is undertaking a thorough investigation of the incident and will use the lessons learned to further improve operations.
