Husky Energy reaffirmed its commitment to the environment by renewing its support of the Husky Energy Endangered Species Reintroduction Program. A $250,000 donation that will allow the Calgary Zoo to expand its endangered species program and focus on six endangered species in Canada. It will also assist the Calgary Zoo’s Centre for Conservation Research to become North America’s leader in reintroduction research. Husky also supports Duck’s Unlimited Canada’s community-based conservation projects across Canada. Husky has contributed more than $640,000 to Ducks Unlimited Canada over the past 17 years in support of wetland habitat restoration and education.
