Husky is well-positioned in the oil sands of northern Alberta with assets in the resource rich areas of Athabasca and Cold Lake, and smaller land holdings in the Peace River deposit. Husky's current activities are focused on the Tucker and Sunrise properties. The Company also has interests in several other leases that are under evaluation. In total, Husky has an interest in 2,242 square kilometers, which were estimated to contain discovered petroleum initially-in-place of 41 billion barrels at the end of 2007.
