Husky’s midstream business strengths grew from an integrated infrastructure supported by our capabilities in large scale commodity marketing. The Company’s midstream infrastructure includes:
- Lloydminster Heavy Oil Upgrader – heavy oil upgrading facility located in the Lloydminster heavy oil producing region and capable of expansion.
- Hardisty Terminal – handles 25 percent of Western Canadian crude exports.
- Pipeline Infrastructure – reliable heavy oil pipeline systems that are well integrated into the Lloydminster producing region and have expansion opportunities.
- Meridian Cogeneration Power Plant – adjacent to the heavy oil upgrader at Lloydminster
- Rainbow Lake Cogeneration Plant – adjacent to the Rainbow Lake Gas Processing Plant.
- Commodity Marketing – Husky markets its own and third party production of crude oil, synthetic crude oil, natural gas liquids (NGL), natural gas, sulphur and petroleum coke.
