Husky’s production sharing contract in the BD and MDA gas fields situated in the Madura Strait offers significant potential. Development planning for exploiting the BD field is underway with first gas expected in 2010. Exploration prospects are being evaluated for future drilling to determine whether the area around the MDA field has commercial potential.

During the second quarter of 2006, Husky was awarded the East Bawean II Block in the East Java Sea.  This increases Husky’s holdings in the region by 1,051,433 acres. The East Bawean II Block is located in the North East Java Basin approximately 200 kilometres north of the Company's BD gas field in the Madura Strait. The acquisition of the East Bawean ll Block increases Husky's total holdings in Indonesia to 1,742,093 acres. Husky completed a 1,410 kilometer 3-D seismic program in 2007, in preparation for drilling in 2009.

Husky holds a 100 percent interest in the Madura Strait and East Bawean II blocks.
