Husky’s entry into Southeast Asia is part of its international strategy to discover conventional oil and gas reserves outside of the hydrocarbon producing basins of North America. Husky has successfully secured significant exploration holdings off the coast of China and has negotiated a production sharing contract in the Madura Strait of Indonesia. The Indonesian prospect contains two discoveries, the BD and MDA gas fields, which offer significant exploration promise.
