Benzene

Benzene is used in the production of other industrial chemicals used to make plastics and resins, and nylon and synthetic fibers. Benzene is also used to make some types of rubbers, lubricants, dyes, detergents, drugs and pesticides. The Lima Refinery produces about 1,700 barrels per day of benzene.
