Husky’s target for its East Coast holdings is to increase production to 125,000 barrels per day by 2010 through the development of satellite tie-backs from its White Rose field and additional reserves from the Terra Nova field. Exploitation of natural gas reserves at White Rose is expected to significantly add to production in the longer term.
In the West Bonne Bay region of the Jeanne d’Arc Basin on Significant Discovery License (SDL) 1040, exploration drilling began during 2006. Under the farm-in agreement with Norsk Hydro, who holds a 90 percent interest, Husky will earn a 25 percent interest in SDL 1040 and an additional 7.5 percent interest in the North Ben Nevis SDL 1008 where Husky has a 65.6 percent interest. Results from exploration drilling are currently under evaluation .
Husky’s growth strategy is focused on fully exploiting and building on its existing core assets at the White Rose field. During 2006, Husky made a hydrocarbon discovery at the White Rose O-28 delineation well in the western section and an additional discovery later that year at the North Amethyst K-15 delineation well, in the southwestern section of the White Rose oil field.
Husky is also progressing front end engineering on the southern extension of the White Rose field, discovered in 2003 with wells F-04 and F-04Z. This southern extension is expected to be developed as a subsea tie-back to the SeaRose FPSO.

As of December 31, 2005, there were 11 development wells drilled in the Graben area of the Terra Nova field, seven producing wells and four injection wells. In the East Flank area another six production wells and five injection wells have been drilled to date. An extended reach production well was completed in the Central Far East area during 2006.
Drilling additional delineation wells in the Far East is a high priority for Husky and the Company continues to promote locations to be considered as part of the drilling program. The Canada-Newfoundland and Labrador Offshore Petroleum Board (CNLOPB) Decision Report approving the updated development plan allows early production from a portion of the Far East area. Drilling operations commenced in late 2006 on the Far East Block.
