East Coast
 

Husky has been active on Canada’s East Coast for more than 25 years, and its development and exploration activities play a major role in helping the Company achieve its medium and long-term targets.

Husky is a significant operator and landholder in the region with 17 exploration licences covering over 1.5 million hectares of land in areas including the Jeanne d’Arc Basin, Flemish Pass, Central Ridge, Sydney Basin and offshore Labrador.

The Company’s development program has focused primarily on the Jeanne d’Arc Basin offshore Newfoundland and Labrador, which is home to the Hibernia, Terra Nova and White Rose oil fields. 

Husky is the operator and majority shareholder in the White Rose oil field and satellite expansions, and has ownership interests in the Terra Nova field as well as a number of smaller fields in the central part of the Jeanne d’Arc Basin.
