Husky has been active on Canada’s East Coast for more than 20 years, and its development and exploration activities play a major role in helping the Company achieve its medium and long-term targets.
The Company’s exploration and development program is focused primarily in the Jeanne d’Arc Basin, offshore Newfoundland and Labrador, in the Grand Banks which contains the Hibernia, Terra Nova and White Rose oil fields.
Husky has ownership interests in the Terra Nova and White Rose fields, as well as in a number of smaller fields in the central part of the Jeanne d’Arc Basin. Working interests range from 5.33 to 100 percent in 16 significant discovery areas and Exploration Licences (EL) covering over 850,000 acres.
